Joyous
THE concert was a blast.
Kinda used to the hype after 4 years,
but still, the feelings I mentioned in
my previous post kick up each year
I watch my kids dance and sing.
Like a proud mum, really.
haha.
Had fun, putting on blusher and lipstick for the kids,
negotiating with the boys and even some girls,
that they only needed to put make-up twice a year,
and if they really did'nt like it,
I would put "a beeeet" for them. LOL.
Main reason: That their faces won't look deathly pale.
So after being made up,
their faces can then be captured,
on video and in photographs.
Now you know eh.
Kindy teachers do not ask boys to
put on make-up for fun.
Like c'mon.
I did tease some of my boys though :)
"Lipstick time!..come herrree.."
Couldn't resist, tee hee.
The tactic worked, though during rehearsal
two boys wiped off their lipstick onto their
shirts in a split second after we applied it for them,
leaving red streaks.
My laoshi fumed, cos the shirts were for her item.
They were obedient today though :)
Great thing is, I get Monday off! :))
Come Tues, we're gonna watch
"If you give a mouse a cookie"
a play at the Black Box @ NLB.
Happy/tired/accomplished/happy.
