Love and Laughs

A collage of love gifts from the kids and their mums :)
Top left: Big thank you bouquet from
siblings whom I taught for two years back-to-back
Top right: 4 brands of chocs courtesy of Mums (yummy!)
Bottom left: Another bouquet, dried flowers this time
Bottom right: Early Christmas cards from the kids (so cute)
Last day of skoool!
Class partay and our very own Christmas play
put up by staff and Mums who volunteered.
Kids enjoyed it tremendously.
Not thrilled about the singspiration though.
Some crazy finger work for me trying to figure out
the melody and chords of Christmas carols,
suggested last minute by HER, my boss,
and the song list grew longer after I ended each song!
So now we're singing ALL the carols?!
What is this man.
Amusement and Embarrassment,
hearing HER sing off key and having weird rhythms,
her version of "We wish you a merry christmas"
going at top speed without warning.
I fiercely stuck to a constant beat,
but it already sounded er...bad.
Siao, i tell you.
After the celebrations, comes the news.
Two colleagues are leaving, yet again.
Sadness, best wishes, sisters always.
We have stopped asking the why,
because it's already a duh answer.
Lessons in relationships and growing through all this.
In the works: gathering of old and new colleagues at my laoshi's place, soon.
To look forward to: Holidays, BAY camp, gatherings with friends,
and gaining back much needed sleep :)
