Things
Talking about fixes,
had a different one today.
Rocky Master has really nice
quesadillas, with sour cream and salsa dips.
Yummmay.
*Satisfied smile*
Wells.
Another practicum briefing today.
4 more months, my group-mate beside me said.
1:25 kids, I started internalizing.
3 evaluations, another group-mate reminded.
Plus a video recording, I added.
The things we have to do to get a diploma.
You could call this the FYP.
One of the lecturers constantly pokes me
in the back, leaving me quite irritated,
but now immune, to get a degree
as soon as I'm done with this dip.
You're young! It's only 18 months!
Hello, wait a minute.
I don't have to be reminded that I'm young,
and have a supposed endless energy supply
to slog it out on assignments and certificates.
Yes, I know studying IS important.
You drill it into our minds in school.
Tuition centers reap profits from it.
Our country lives and breathes education system and $$,
every single day.
And what's this I hear asking childcare teachers to work
from 7am till 8pm?
Top that with studying and getting upgrading,
we'll be dead tired when we get home.
S-A-C-R-I-F-I-C-E.
I've gotten that down to my very bones.
So you give baby bonuses
to encourage couples to produce more babies?
How about giving some love to us teachers too?
Don't we have a LIFE too? HUH?
Sorry for getting worked up about this,
but for good reason.
I'm thankful I don't work in childcare but.
Please lor. There's more to life than this.
My course-mates and I joked we should
start an early childhood union,
since there apparently isn't one yet.
The Rights of a teacher.
Now that would be something to talk about.
Aye, that was a good rant.
This is for all the teachers :)
