I'm glad.
That my lao-shi, the nursery teacher and I
sat down with the boss after school
and ironed out our complicated timetables.
Main reason: My laoshi teaches both Nursery and K1 chinese.
And so, goes up and down after completing each lessson,
as both classes have chinese daily.
Today was a particularly hectic day,
with my K1s having computer lessons,
and chinese dance, on top of chinese and english lessons.
A day where some periods clashed,
which caused confusion and an inbalance
in the usage of time and manpower.
We sat down to discuss.
About giving equal teaching and transition time
for the main ppl, the kids,
that's a big step we've accomplished.
This will result, hopefully, in helping settle the kids,
who even after 3 weeks of school,
have not really settled,
due to so many changes.
My 25, I stress again.
One step at a time.
Thank you God for this meeting.
Glad too, that by some strange turn of events,
my lecture ended early today,
to give me time to now sit in the library to blog,
to reflect on today,
and think ahead for tomorrow.
Pls pray, got a class quiz on Thurs.
Topic: Home school partnerships with parents.
Just managed to squeeze in
an hour of studying at Gloria Jean's
after dinner with Dad,
and while waiting for Mum to end class.
Not too bad, but not too often too.
Coffees are a bomb on the pocket these days.
And now,
I need to sleep.
:)
